New features that make the Adidas Predator X stand out from previous models include a new Taurus leather, taken from bulls, which is much more water resistant than k-letaher and standard leathers.
The upper has also changed in that the laces are aimed toward the instep to allow a greater control and strike area on the outstep. A fold-under tonuge and lacing design further adds to the changes to ensure a snug-fit for all shapes of foot.

The Adidas Predator X now feature a one piece sole with a new 6-stud hybrid XTRX system which increases grip and protects the foot throught he Powerspine running down the forefoot, a strip which bends only with the foot and never aginst the natural curve of the foot.
